Dear Club/School

Please find enclosed the nomination for the Avon Development Centre for boys and girls, U17, U16, U15, U14.

For the U14 age group (we will be happy to look at players who were born in 1997, 1998 or even 1999 if they have potential).

For the U15’s must be born in 1996

For the U16’s must be born in 1995

For the U18’s must be born in 1994

With the introduction of the Single System, Avon are looking to set up more than one Development Centre for each age group in 2010 but this means that Avon are looking for more coaches/managers to enable us to do this. Unless we have enough people coming forward then Avon will run only one Development Centre and trials for each age group will take place. If this is the case then dates will be advised later and schools/clubs will be nominated to help with trials. It is therefore important that all the correct contact information is entered on the forms. At present each school/club is limited to 4 nominations per age group but if you think you have more than four, then please contact me to discuss. If we are able to set up more than one Development Centre then we may contact the schools and clubs again for further nominations.

An advert for coaches has recently been sent to all clubs and schools and if you have any queries, then please contact me to discuss.

Forms must be returned to me at the above address by FRIDAY 28 FEBRUARY 2010. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Late entries will not be accepted.

Yours sincerely

Valerie Harding

Christmas Social
Written by Barny Willoughby
Thursday, 26 November 2009 21:22

It is suggested that the christmas club social take the form of a mass fines night.

All teams to start together at the clubhouse, then head off in teams on their fines nights, then regroup at the Huntsman around 10:30 - yes, we know, the Huntsman, but it will have plenty of space for a drink and a dance if required.

The night could possibly have a theme, if you have an idea for what it might be eg. large cats - Jim, please let Oz Webb know.

Congratulations Scott

Anyone willing to help out training the ladies on a Tuesday night with Scott?

This would be on a one off basis just to be an extra pair of hands.

If you feel you could help please give Scott and ring, or contact him through your captain, Thanks.

Race Night
28th November

Hi Everyone,

Its that time of year again where we all delve deep into our pockets and pull out a few nuggets to waste away on Horses at the race night.....ONLY THIS TIME you get to waste money on horses but also Camel racing, Dog racing and 'wacky racers' (battery operated beasts).

Its £2 entrance fee and as little as £1 to bet on a race.

Please bring a raffle prize (the more there are, the more you can win)

Also well done to the ladies first team for a cracking Halloween Party!!!
