There is a suggestion that we could have a club wide competion based around our weekly player of the match selections.

If each team contributes about £20 between them to a big end of season prize, eg.a £100 stick, we then have a draw to decide the winner.

Each time a player gets voted as player of the match they get one ticket in the draw - the more times you have been voted the more tickets you get.  We could have a running total on the website.  Even if you only get voted for once you'll still have a chance of winning.

It would be nice to have cross club involvement, with all parties being equal.

Please discuss it in your teams and let your captains know what you think.

Over the last couple of weeks there have been a few problems with registering on the website. If you have tried to register but not received an e-mail to allow you to complete the process, please try and log on using the username and password that you provided. I have enabled all of the new accounts, so this should work.

Training starts properly this  week as per the schedule below.

Please make every attempt to arrive 10 to 15 mins early so that we can warm up and be ready to go at the start time.

Also, Scott would like to like to warn you that there will be a lot of fitness in the adults training for the first few weeks (and boy we need it) so please remember to bring lots of fluids along.

All Training takes place at New Pitch on Lansdown

The umpires association have set up an Open meeting to be held at the Saracen’s Rugby Club on Wednesday 7^th September starting at 7.30pm. It is hoped that a current National League umpire will be there to talk about the new rules and their interpretation. This will be an opportunity to ask any questions that you may have.
With this presentation and any discussion it is hoped that we can all umpire to the same interpretations thus making it easier on ourselves and easier for the players.
